After graduating from law school and passing the Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana Bar Exams, Steve successfully ran for State Representative for Arkansas’s District 1, where he served for three terms.  Steve was elected by his colleagues in the Arkansas House as Majority Leader, where he shaped public policy for the Arkansas legislature.  Steve also served as chairman for the House Judiciary Committee, which is the committee largely responsible for considering bills and issues that Steve now litigates as a trial lawyer.  

In 2010, Steve was elected to the Arkansas Senate, where he served on the Senate Judiciary Committee.  Steve’s service in the Arkansas legislature allowed him to write many of the laws that he now advocates in court.  Steve was recognized for his service in the House and Senate by being named Legislator of the Year by many organizations.  

Steve now proudly fights for the little guy and uses his knowledge from the state legislature to take on large and influential companies in court.

Steve earned his law degree from University of Arkansas and is licensed to practice in Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. In 2014, he was also selected to be included in Super Lawyers, an achievement that no more than 5% of attorneys can claim.
